This is part one of an epic wave sailing session at lower Kanaha Beach Park on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii. We had no wind in over a week and the forecast showed some potential for light off shore winds in the afternoon. A few of us waited on the beach in anticipation which looked to be waining as the clock ticked past 2pm. All of a sudden the off shore wind picked up and the session was on.
